ATEX helmet lamp Nitecore EH1

The Nitecore EH1 is a very durable ATEX-classified helmet lamp. The lamp is developed to be used in industries with a high risk of explosion or ignition, e.g. in mines and in the oil and chemical industry. The lamp provides a full 260 lumen light flux and a concentrated light cone with a range of a full 205 meters. An ideal lamp for situations where you need concentrated light at a long distance. The EH1 is powered by a built-in 6800 mAh battery and charged through a smart magnetic USB charger. The lamp comes with a helmet mount with adhesive, which makes it easy to attach the lamp regardless of the type of helmet you will be using it on.

The EH1 is protected according to the IP68 standard, which means it is completely dust and waterproof. The lamp can be immersed in water to a depth of 3 meters and the high-quality lamp body made of polycarbonate withstands impacts corresponding to a fall from 1.8 meters. In addition, the lamp is explosion-proof according to classification IIB. The advanced control system prevents the fixture from overheating by adjusting the output as needed.

Manual

Turn on the lamp with a push of the switch. The lamp then lights up at full power. To change the power mode, press the switch again, it then switches between the power modes in the order High --> Medium --> Low --> off. To turn off the lamp, hold the switch down until all power modes have been cycled through, whereupon the lamp turns off.

The red light comes on when the switch is held down for at least three seconds when the light is off. Press the switch again to activate the flashing red light, and once more to turn off the light.

The SOS mode is activated by lighting the lamp and then holding the switch down for at least one second. Another press activates beacon/beacon mode (repeated, rapid flashes), and another press turns the light off.

The EH1 notifies the remaining battery charge when the switch is held down for one second when the light is off. The lamp's four red LEDs then light up, and indicate the remaining charge as follows:

• 4 red LEDs lit: over 90%
• 3 red LEDs light up: approx. 60%
• 2 red LEDs light up: approx. 40%
• 1 red LED lights up: about 20%

Charging: Connect the charging cable to the USB port and the other end to the lamp's charging connector. The red LEDs indicate the battery percentage in real time as above. When the battery is full, all four LEDs light up continuously.
