A very powerful auxiliary light equipped with a heated lens, Purelux PowerBoost® mode and dual-colored parking light (orange and white). The lens heating can be switched on when the car is running! Maximum light output 14600 lm, range 552 m.
Lens heating can be switched on even when the light is not on - so the lens is fused when the light is needed
The reflector surfaces of the lamp direct the light both far ahead and far to the sides of the road. In the vertical direction, the beam is limited, but still provides enough diffused light for driving on hilly terrain. The wide beam of the headlamp provides effective illumination of the road verges, allowing, for example, the early detection of wild animals jumping onto the road. The Purelux Heat 9200 is therefore an excellent combination of a spotlight that carries the light further away and a diffused light that is evenly distributed along the roadside, giving the driver considerably more time than normal to react to changes on the road. The light's neutral 5000K colour temperature is also optimised for road use, making it easier to see terrain and obstacles without straining the eyes even during long driving distances. In addition, the 5000K colour temperature works better than cooler shades in poor weather conditions such as fog or rain.
The dark-soft profile and optics of the headlamp, as well as the stylish orange or white parking light, make this additional light a sophisticated and modern addition to any vehicle. In addition, the tempered glass lens is more resistant than polycarbonate to scratches from branches and other scratching factors that cannot be avoided while driving. The front of the Purelux Heat 9200 is perfectly flat, meaning there is no frame around the lens to collect snow, ice or dirt. This means that the lens stays cleaner in poor weather conditions and does not require constant cleaning, so it can be installed at height without worry. The frame itself is made of robust, powder-coated and UV-protected aluminium, made to withstand heavy use.
A mounting foot is supplied with the light, and installation is facilitated by the 2-pole DTP connector pre-installed in the power cord of the luminaire, as well as by the pre-wired positive leads from the power cord to the parking lights and road-approved power mode. The lamp is radio interference immunity according to ECE R10 standard. Two-year (24 months) warranty!
Purelux Heat 9200 is designed for the long, cold and harsh winters of the North. Heat ensures that the lens never freezes or gets covered in snow while driving, as the heating resistors automatically switch on when the lens temperature drops too low. The light resistors can be switched on to keep the lens melted whenever the auxiliary light is on or, exceptionally, when the vehicle is running. This allows, for example, the lens to be defrosted before setting off on a journey if it has accumulated dew overnight, or to defrost accumulated snow while driving in bright light before a dark turn. The PowerBoost® mode allows you to harness a huge amount of power from the lamp, and this, combined with the automatically warming lens, makes it a truly versatile light booster. In addition, today's popular two-colour parking light and dark profile make the Heat a stylish addition to any vehicle!"
NOTE: It is recommended to always use a scratch shield (clear one is supplied witht the light) when heating the light is not required. Black one can be found here: Purelux 9200 Stone guards.

Wiring
The heater is always on when the light is on. In addition, it is possible to switch it on even when the light is not on, by connecting the green wire to the power supply.
Switching on the heater when the light is not on: The most common ways of switching on the heater are either to control it with a separate switch or to have it always on when the vehicle is running. This allows the light to be kept on even when the high beams are off, so that it is already melted when additional light is needed.

ThePurelux Heat 9200 is a completely unique round auxiliary light in its class, with comprehensive features including an automatically warming lens, a two-colour parking light and two different power modes. The two power modes allow the light to be switched to either road-approved power mode or, alternatively, the Purelux PowerBoost® mode for off-road use, which unleashes unlimited light output from the entire light. In PowerBoost® mode, the light output is increased to a staggering 14600 lumens, according to the manufacturer, with a measured range of 552 metres @ 1 lux for a single light, and with the addition of two or more lights, the range and beam width can be increased even further! The size of the Heat 9200 makes it ideal for use on vans, trucks, SUVs, larger cars and as part of heavy equipment. Thanks to its PowerBoost mode, Heat is also an excellent choice for off-road vehicles, such as off-road vehicles.
All the features of the Heat have been fine-tuned for the challenging conditions of the North, as evidenced by the self-melting lens. Exceptionally, the Heat 9200 can be switched to warm up the lens either in the traditional way with the auxiliary light on or when the car is started! If the auxiliary light is switched on to warm up the lens whenever the vehicle is running, the lens can be defrosted in the yard before setting off or immediately after setting off on a lit stretch of road. In this way, Heat 9200 is ready to illuminate a dark stretch of road as soon as it is reached. This also prevents the lens from freezing if the light has to be switched off in a sleet storm, for example when following another vehicle. Heat uses a unique and energy-efficient technology to heat the lens: heating resistors are located on either side of the light and conduct heat through a tempered glass lens to the entire front of the lens. The glass surface conducts heat much more efficiently than polycarbonate, allowing the lens to melt quickly. Depending on the wiring, the resistors switch on automatically when either the vehicle or the auxiliary light itself is switched on and switch off automatically when the temperature rises above 70°C. Of course, the heating wire can also be connected behind a separate switch if desired, allowing the driver to choose when the auxiliary light resistors are switched on.
The jewel in the crown is, of course, Purelux PowerBoost® technology, which allows both the use of limited power modes approved for road use and unlimited light output for off-road use. When PowerBoost® is switched on, the range of a single light is measured at up to 552 metres (@ 1 lux), and of course with two or more lights, both the beam width and range can be increased even further. Switching between power modes is easily done by pressing a button on the back of the luminaire, so there's no need to make any separate connections!
Unlike usual, there is no need to connect or disconnect any extra wires to activate the different power modes of the luminaire, just switch to PowerBoost®- and road mode with unprecedented ease at the touch of a button on the top of the lamp. The last active power mode is stored in the "memory" of the lamp, so you don't need to change the power mode, e.g. for a road test. In road use, you don't have to worry about the lamp always switching on at maximum power when you switch off the power in between and start the car again.
Note: The difference between Purelux PowerBoost® and road mode is clearly visible in use - PowerBoost mode is much more powerful and should not be used in normal road driving, only off-road.
