The Purelux Road Curve C790 is the new updated version of the Purelux best selling led bar of all time! In addition to the stylish dark design, the Road Curve C790 has, among other things, a completely borderless frame, two-color (white and orange) parking light and two different power modes. For the Purelux Road Curve C790, you can install either in a power mode that follows the restrictions of Emarking in Europe, or alternatively the PowerBoost™ mode, which creams the extra light's diodes as much as they can, which means a maximum light flow!. In PowerBoost™ mode, according to the manufacturer, the led bar can produce a luminous flux of up to 16,500 lumens and a measured range of over half a kilometer (@ 1 lux)! In addition to its updated functions, the C790 still has the same light image that was celebrated with the older model, which is tightly defined in the vertical direction and evenly spread in the lateral direction, which means that all the light can be directed to exactly the right place and that the light is not drowned in, for example, the tops of trees.

Road Curve C790 is an additional light specially designed for dark and winding roads in the Nordics. Its vertically strictly defined light pattern does not send unnecessary stray light to the sky or directly in front of the car to the ground, so the light can be directed exactly where it is needed. The tapered light cone improves visibility and significantly increases road safety even in bad weather conditions. This is because the light does not focus on a drift of snow blowing from the sky, nor does it reflect rain-whipped wet asphalt into the driver's eyes, or form a blinding "ball of light" directly in front of the front, even when it is down. The high luminous flux combined with the Curve's precise beam provides an impressive range of 635 meters @ 1 lux, giving the driver significantly more time to observe what is happening on the road. In addition, the limited beam allows the additional light to be installed low, for example under the screen, making the additional light a stylish and discreet part of the whole. This led bar is suitable for both ordinary road users and professional drivers, and its lighting functions are second to none!

Emarking - Most extra lights sold today have a so-called Emarking. This means that you get a requirement on yourself as an extra light manufacturer, that the product must be power limited in order to be traffic approved for certain countries in Europe. In Sweden, we lack this requirement, but many led bars sold here still have the marking because they are manufactured for the entire European market. This means that the effect will be limited in almost all additional lights (and very much so). With the PowerBoost™ mode activated, you bypass the E-marking and run "ALL IN" on the effect of the extra light.

In addition to the precisely directed light beam and maximum power, other features of the Road Curve C790 have also been refined with demanding conditions in mind. The extra light beam's 5000K color temperature does not strain the eyes even during longer driving distances, and works better than cold color temperatures in bad weather conditions, such as fog and rain. The neutral color temperature also makes it easier to observe terrain contours and detect potential obstacles well in advance. The curved design of the C790 guarantees an even, wide beam of light, and the reflective surfaces of the auxiliary beam also direct a lot of light far ahead.

Note! You can clearly see the difference between PowerBoost and road mode - PowerBoost™ mode is significantly more efficient and should not be used in normal road traffic, only off-road.

The color of the parking light can be set to either elegant orange or traditional white.

The impact-resistant, virtually unbreakable Lexa polycarbonate lens withstands the inevitable stone chips and scratches from branches, as well as varying weather conditions. In addition, the front of the Road Curve C790 is completely flat, meaning there is no frame around the lens to collect snow, ice or dirt, so the lens remains clean even in bad weather conditions. The appearance of the bar, carbon fiber details, dark overall texture and optics, and the parking light that glows in white and orange make it a beautiful addition to any car. The C790 is perfectly suited for cars, vans and off-road vehicles as well as for heavy vehicles. Thanks to the PowerBoost™ mode, the panel is also an excellent choice for construction sites or off-road vehicles.

The C790 comes with both the traditional end legs and the width-adjustable rail brackets under the light, so there are almost unlimited mounting possibilities. The installation is also facilitated by the supplied support irons, as well as the 2-pin DT-2 connector that is already in place in the led bar's power cord. The wide operating voltage range (9-30 V) enables installation in both 12V and 24V systems. The power mode of the led bar, which is approved for road traffic, can be installed for use with a separate plus cable coming from the power cable of the ledbar, which allows the connection to be made, for example, behind a separate switch. In this case, the bar's power mode can be changed between wall-approved and PowerBoost™ mode whenever needed using a switch, for example from the driver's seat of the vehicle. The C790 is protected against radio interference in accordance with the ECE R10 standard. Two year (24 month) warranty!

Note! You can buy the complete set above either as it is OR you can also take the XBB OBD Dongle & PowerUnit connection relay (see product options), which allows the led bar to be connected to CAN-bus controlled lights as well. In short, the connection using this relay is carried out by inserting the control device (OBD Dongle) into the car's OBD-II port and replacing the PowerUnit relay with the original relay of the supplied wiring harness. The control device placed in the OBD port catches the high beam signal from the CAN bus and sends the information completely wirelessly to the relay in the wiring harness, which in turn controls the additional light according to this signal.

Coupling

When the panel is connected with the DTP connector, it lights up in PowerBoost mode. The road approved power mode can be switched on by connecting the black wire to ground and the blue wire to power. The red wire must be left unconnected for the auxiliary light limiter to work.
