Auxiliary light Purelux SM250 - 39W / 25 cm

The Purelux SM250 is a slim auxiliary light specially designed for snowmobiles and enduro motorcycles. Compared to the snowmobile's existing lights, the SM250 (Snowmobile 250) offers a more complete and wider light pattern, both vertically but especially horizontally. The extra light has a measured luminous flux of 2665 lm, which is up to 150% more light/power than an H4 bulb usually used in snowmobiles (1000 lm). The SM250 is developed in Finland as a result of a long development collaboration between product developers and snowmobile enthusiasts. Investing in an effective auxiliary light not only improves the driving experience, but also improves safety.

The SM250 has an optimized light pattern to cope with all types of terrain. On winding stretches, the width of the beam is enough to illuminate behind curves, and in hilly terrain, the height of the beam shines up or down slopes and crests. The lamp's range of 180 meters is also long enough for open areas and fields. The secret to the lamp's optimized light pattern lies in the combination of reflectors: the grooved reflectors on the edges spread light sideways, while the smooth reflectors form a dense spotlight with a long reach. Overall, the SM250 offers a combined light image with abundant scattered light that extends almost to 180 °. To reduce the risk of reflected light when the additional light is mounted, the diffused light is cut at the height of the lower edge. This prevents the driver from being dazzled and visibility being impaired.

With a pleasant and warmer color temperature of 4042 Kelvin, use is optimized for fog and snow in general. The advantage of a warmer color temperature is that it works better in conditions with a lot of snow and fog. The risk that exists with the colder temperature that the light is reflected back and dazzles the driver. Visually, the SM250 follows today's trends in appearance with dark optics, slim profile and rimless lens. The rimless lens prevents the accumulation of snow, ice and dirt in front of the lens. In accordance with enclosure class IP68, the lamp is completely dust and waterproof, and the lens is also UV protected.

The SM250 is easily mounted with the included side brackets, installation is facilitated by the 2-pin DT connector that is pre-assembled. With its elegant and slim fitting, the SM250 can be mounted neatly and discreetly on any snowmobile. The compact design combined with the dark, expressive appearance ensures that the lamp is not only practical but also a stylish addition to the entire vehicle. Two year (24 month) warranty!
