Nitecore EDC27 is a new generation EDC flashlight in a practical size suitable for general use. The EDC27 has a surprising performance despite its small size, with cool lighting effects and first-class functions. The EDC27 produces a luminous flux of a whopping 3000 lumens, with a beam that has a range of 220 meters according to the manufacturer. Thanks to its excellent ratio between size and power, the lamp is perfectly suited for both close-up work and search tasks, as its high-quality light beam is a perfect combination of both width and reach. In addition to work, the lamp can of course also be used at home to take care of everyday chores, and can also be taken on hikes and runs. The small size and great performance also make it very suitable to store in, for example, the glove compartment of the car, for use in emergencies or unforeseen situations where good light is required.

Thanks to the innovative and flat design, the EDC27 is less than 2 cm thick, and the lamp also has a steel clip that allows it to be attached to, for example, a belt or the edge of a pocket. The unique design also gives the lamp an elegant appearance and facilitates handling. An OLED screen is nicely integrated into the lamp and shows the battery voltage, current mode used, selected operating mode and remaining operating time. The lamp is operated with two rear switches.

The EDC27 works with a built-in 1700 mAh li-ion battery, which offers a burning time of up to 37 hours according to the manufacturer, and its advanced APC (Advanced Power Cut-Off Technology) system optimizes performance by minimizing power consumption when the lamp is in sleep mode. This makes the lamp both a suitable EDC flashlight and extends the battery's charging interval, which is especially suitable for work use. EDC27 is shockproof and protected against dust and water according to enclosure class IP54. Quick guide

On/off: Turn on the lamp by pressing the power button on the back of the lamp once. Turn off the lamp in the same way.

Change power mode: When the light is on, press the power button halfway. The power modes rotate with each press in the following order: Ultralow -> Low -> Medium -> High. After use, the lamp lights up in the power mode it was last used in (excluding Turbo), so the power modes start rotating from the power mode currently in use.

Turbo: Turbo mode can be activated temporarily by pressing the light switch halfway. Turbo can be activated in any power mode and even when the lamp is off. The lamp's OLED display shows the remaining operating time of the Turbo function, when it runs out, the lamp automatically returns to the last used power mode. In other words, the turbo mode is only intended for occasional use.

Strobe: Press and hold the Mode button to activate the Strobe function. Release the power switch to return to the previously used power mode.

Button Lock: The lamp has two different Button Locks - Half Lockout Mode (Lockout 1) and Full Lockout Mode (Lockout 2). When the light is on, press and hold the power button until the text "Lockout 1" appears on the screen. If the Lockout 1 button lock is used, the lamp's on/off button is disabled, but the Strobe flash and Turbo mode can still be used. If you continue to press the power button until the text "Lockout 2" appears on the screen, all the power switches on the lamp are disabled, that is, the lamp can no longer be used even in Turbo or Strobe mode. The key lock is opened by pressing the power button once, which activates the screen, and immediately after that by holding the same power button until "Unlock"

Charging: Connect one end of the included USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the lamp, and the other end to a computer or power adapter, for example. The charging progress can be monitored via the battery icon on the lamp's OLED display.
