The Nitecore EDC29 is a very powerful rechargeable flashlight that represents the elite of EDC lamps. The unique design of the lamp, a maximum light output of 6500 lumens, a high-quality combined light beam and an easy user interface make it the perfect choice for everyday use. Nitecore's LUMIN SHIELD™ technology integrated into the lamp enables full light output to be switched on quickly, even if the battery is not fully charged, and with the help of the separate Search function, a narrower search beam can be activated from the light, which can reach up to 400 meters. It is therefore a lamp equipped with exceptionally versatile functions, which is suitable for the needs of both authorities and demanding enthusiasts. Thanks to the shock-, water- and dust-resistant construction, the use of the lamp does not have to be limited by the conditions, and the graceful design and detailed surface texture guarantee easy handling in every situation.

The two different light beams of the lamp have been implemented by utilizing modern LED technology: two high-performance UHi 20 MAX LEDs have been installed in the lamp, which together with innovative reflector technology enable the formation of both a narrow and a wide light beam. The same lamp can therefore be used both, for example, as a search light for search tasks and for extensive lighting of nearby areas. In addition, the lamp has a smart back light sensor that reduces the light output if an obstacle is detected too close to the lens, so that the high light output does not cause damage, for example, if the lamp is switched on accidentally.

The body of the EDC29 is made of stainless steel, and it is finished with a stylish titanium surface that prevents corrosion, scratches and dirt. The lamp's advanced APC system (Advanced Power Cut-Off Technology) optimizes performance by minimizing power consumption whenever the lamp is in sleep mode. This makes the lamp both a reliable partner and extends the charging interval of the battery, which is a desirable feature especially for work use. The lamp is supplied with a handy wrist strap, which allows the lamp to always be within reach. The lamp works with a built-in 2500 mAh li-ion battery, which can be charged via the USB-C charging port on the body of the lamp with the supplied USB-C charging cable. Quick guide

On/Off: Press the tail switch to the bottom once to turn the light on or off. The lamp lights up in the last used power mode (excl. Lumin Shield and Search).

Changing the power mode: When the light is on, press the tail switch halfway to change the power mode. The modes rotate in the following order: Ultralow -> Low -> Mid -> High. Lumin Shield and Search are not included in this rotation.

Narrow (Search) beam: With the light on or off, press the tail switch halfway and hold to turn on the narrow search beam. Release the switch to turn off or return to the previously used power mode.

Lumin Shield/Storbo: The Customizable Button on the lamp enables the use of both the Strobo flash and the Lumin Shield function. With the lamp on or off, press the Customizable Button to the bottom, then also press the power switch to the bottom, so you can choose which function you want to use. When the function is selected for use, it remains in the lamp's memory. Press and hold the Customizable Button at the bottom to turn on the Strobo/Lumin Shield. Lumin Shield switches on the maximum light output (6500 lm) of the lamp momentarily, after which the light output automatically decreases (so it is only intended for momentary use).

Key lock: The lamp has two different key locks - Semi Lockout Mode (Lockout 1) and Full Lockout Mode (Lockout 2). When the light is on, press and hold the Customizable Button and slide the Lockout switch up. Release the Customizable Button when the SEMI LOCK icon appears on the screen. If the Lockout 1 key lock is in use, the light's On/Off switch is disabled, but the Strobe flash and Turbo power mode can still be used. To enable Full Lockout Mode, slide the Lockout switch down, turn on the light, and slide the Lockout switch back up. Full Lockout Mode can also be activated directly by sliding the Lockout switch up while the light is on or off. In this case, the text FULL LOCK appears on the screen. The key lock is opened by sliding the Lockout switch down.
