The Nitecore EDC33 is a very powerful USB-C rechargeable flashlight, whose top features put it right in the top of tactical flashlights. The lamp is equipped with both a narrow and a wide beam, innovative LED technology, an easy user interface, a durable structure and a large-sized tail switch that makes use effortless. UHi (Ultra High Intensity) LED, specially designed for flashlight use, has been used in the production of EDC33, which packs tremendous performance into a very small size and enables a maximum light output of up to 4000 lumens and a light beam that can reach up to 450 meters.

In addition, the EDC33 is equipped with the innovative LUMIN SHIELD™ technology, which enables the maximum light output to be switched on quickly in any situation, even if the battery is not fully charged. By pressing the tail switch to the bottom, LUMIN SHIELD™ switches on and activates all 9 LEDs of the lamp, so the light output rises to 4000 lumens and the lamp forms a very bright wall of light in front of it, which can be used both for self-defense and for fast and efficient lighting of the nearby area.

All the characteristics of the lamp are designed to make use as easy as possible in hectic and fast-reacting situations. For this reason, all functions of the lamp are operated via the rear switch, and in addition, there is also a quick-use slide switch on the side of the lamp, which can be used to set the lamp to the key lock or out of the locked mode. The slide switch that manages the lock allows the lamp to be used quickly in unexpected situations, where time is not spent on extra fiddling. Due to the high light output, the EDC33 also has a smart backlight sensor that automatically lowers the light output when it detects an obstacle directly in front of the lens, so that the high light energy does not heat up or damage the object in front.

The EDC33 is powered by a built-in 4000 mAh li-ion battery that can be charged via the universal USB-C charging port found on the body. There are four indicator lights on the side of the lamp that keep the user informed of the battery capacity both during use and charging. The body of the EDC33, created for challenging conditions, is made of aluminum (7075-T6), also used in the military industry, which is one of the most durable aluminum alloys available. In addition, the lamp is completely shock, water and dust resistant, and it can withstand permanent immersion up to 2 meters. All in all, the EDC33 is an excellent light for both military and official use, as well as for demanding hobby activities, both in terms of its features and durability. Quick guide

On/Off: Press the tail switch to the bottom once to turn the light on or off. The lamp lights up in the last used power mode (excl. Lumin Shield and Search).

Changing the power mode: When the light is on, press the tail switch halfway to change the power mode. The modes rotate in the following order: Ultralow -> Low -> Mid -> High. Lumin Shield and Search are not included in this rotation.

Narrow (Search) beam: With the light on or off, press the tail switch halfway and hold to activate the narrow search beam. Release the switch to turn off or return to the previously used power mode.

Lumin Shield: With the light on or off, press the tail switch all the way down and hold to switch on the maximum light output (4000 lm). Release the switch to turn off or return to the previously used power mode.

Key lock: The lamp has two different key locks: full locking and half locking. With the light on, hold down the tail switch and slide the key lock switch up to activate the half lock. In half-locked mode, the Search and Lumin Shield functions can be used normally. Turn the full lock on by sliding the switch up normally. In this case, all functions of the lamp are disabled. Slide the switch down to open the key lock.

Charging: Twist the cap around the lens to reveal the USB-C charging port. Connect one end of the charging cable to the lamp and the other to e.g. a computer's USB port, power bank or mains adapter. The battery charge indicator lights indicate the battery charge as follows:

• 1 light: Battery remaining 0-25%
• 2 lights: Battery remaining 25-50%
• 3 lights: Battery remaining 50-75%
• 4 lights: Battery remaining 75-100%
