Flashlight Nitecore P20i UV, 1800 lm

The Nitecore P20i UV is a state-of-the-art flashlight specially equipped for use in government and military. The flashlight's performance is backed up by a powerful SST-40W LED that is placed deep inside a flat reflector module. These form a light flux of 1800 lumens and a range of a full 337 meters according to the manufacturer. In addition, the flashlight is equipped with four UV LEDs with an output of 320 mW and a wavelength of 365 nm. UV light can be used in many situations, for example to examine documents, check banknotes, during forensic examinations, etc. The flashlight is IP68-rated, which guarantees protection against dust and water, and has a durable aluminum body. The flashlight is powered by Nitecore's updated Intelligent 21700 Li-ion battery, which provides high efficiency and reduces power loss. According to the manufacturer, a battery life of 1 hour and 45 minutes at highest power and 38 hours at lowest power is given. The battery is quickly charged with a modern USB-C cable. The charging port on the flashlight is positioned in such a way that you do not need to remove the battery from the lamp during the charging process. The charging port is protected against water and dirt. The included battery adapter allows the flashlight to be powered by two CR123A batteries.

With its simple design with two separate buttons, a power switch and one for power modes, it is very user-friendly. The switch turns the lamp on and off. It can either be pressed all the way down, or halfway down to turn on the lamp momentarily (ie until the switch is released). This is an important feature in tactical use. The light flow of the flashlight is controlled via the button for power modes and switches between the modes in the order High - Med - Low - UV. In addition to these power modes, the Nitecore P20i UV is equipped with another one: Strobe - i.e. a flashing mode, which is quickly activated from all power modes even when the lamp is switched off. This function can be useful in emergency situations to alert those around you of your situation or to scare away or distract, for example, threatening animals.
