The Olight Warrior 3S is a tactical, powerful and durable flashlight from Olight that is suitable for both professional use and demanding hobbyists. The flashlight offers a fantastic light output of 2300 lumens at full power, so the range of the combined light beam is up to 300 meters. The flashlight is equipped with a tactical dual-function switch on the back, but it also has a traditional side switch so that settings can be adjusted in any grip and position. The lamp is also powered by a strong and powerful battery of 5000mAh (21700 battery), which gives a fantastic burning time.

The Warrior 3S is an upgraded version of the popular Warrior 3, the main difference between the two is the built-in dimming feature in the Warrior3S that dims the light flow when there is an obstacle in front of the lens. This function ensures that the flashlight does not burn holes in textiles or the like when it is, for example, in a pocket. The function is also very good to have during dark hikes as you can have it as both map lighting because the lamp dims the light flow automatically when it points to the map.. If there is an obstacle in front of the lamp for more than a minute, it turns off automatically.

Charging of the lamp takes place via the rear switch whose surface is magnetic, whereby the magnetic charging cable snaps into the rear connector as if by itself. The indicator lights around the power switch allow you as a user to easily keep track of the current battery level. In addition to charging, the rear power switch can be used to attach the remote control. The flashlight is completely waterproof, which means it can be used continuously submerged 2 meters below the surface of the water. It is also shock- and recoil-resistant and, like other Olight lamps, the lamp has a five-year (60-month) warranty.

The rear switch is multi-functional, which means you turn on both the continuous light and the temporary light with the same switch. A long press turns the light on until the switch is released and a short press turns the light on until you turn it off. Via the traditional side power switch, all power modes of the lamp are accessible, and next to the power switch there is a four-stage indicator light that shows the amount of power remaining and the power mode being used. The lamp can therefore be used as a completely ordinary lamp, but also as a tactical light in, for example, the security sector.

The rear tactical switch has two modes of operation: Normal and Tactical. In the normal mode, a light press gives medium light and a hard press gives turbo. In the tactical mode, a light press gives turbo and a hard press gives strobe (strobe light). To change mode, simply hold down the rear switch while pressing the side switch.

Quick guide

Battery level status and current power status: 4 LEDs on the left side of the flashlight indicate the used power mode, and the LEDs on the right side indicate the battery charge status.

Power status is indicated as follows: 1 light means Low or Moonlight power, 2 lights = Medium power, 3 lights = High power and 4 lights = Turbo power.

The battery level status is indicated as follows:

• 4 lights: Over 75%

Using the flashlight

• ON/OFF: Press the power button once to turn the lamp on or off. The lamp lights up in the operating mode in which it was last turned off.
• POWER MODE CHANGES: While the lamp is on, press and hold the side button to cycle through the power modes. They roll in the order of low, medium and high. Release the power switch when the desired power mode is active. (Note: Turbo and Moonlight modes are not included in the cycle.)
• MOONLIGHT MODE: When the light is off, the lamp can be switched to moonlight mode by holding down the button for more than one second. If the last use of the lamp was in Moonlight mode, it will automatically turn on the next time in Moonlight mode.
• USING TURBO POWER MODE: Double click the side switch to enter high power mode. Double click the switch again to resume turbo mode. To return to high power mode, double-click the button again. (Note: Turbo power mode automatically reverts to high power mode after three minutes of use.)
• STROBO FLASH: Activate the Strobe/flash function by triple clicking the button. To return to normal mode, press the button once or hold the button.
• BUTTON LOCK: With the light off, press and hold the button for about two seconds to lock it. Moonlight mode remains for a while, and when the light turns off, the button is locked. When locked, the red button lock indicator light (when the button is pressed) lights up. To unlock the keypad, press and hold the key for more than one second. When the button lock is released, the lamp switches to Moonlight power mode.

Using the rear power switch

The rear power switch can be used to control the light in normal or tactical mode. To change mode, press and hold the rear switch and simultaneously press the side switch.

• NORMAL MODE: A light press activates the Medium power mode and a strong press activates the Turbo mode. A long press will turn the light on as long as the switch is pressed, and a short press will turn the light on until you turn it off.
• TACTICAL MODE: A light press activates Turbo power mode and a strong press activates Strobe/Flash mode. The lamp lights up in both power modes as long as the power switch is fully pressed.
