Headlamp Nitecore HU2000, 2000 lm

The Nitecore HU2000 is a very versatile headlamp, perfect for both work and leisure use. The headlamp produces a maximum light output of 2000 lumens, which is impressive for its size, and its wide, up to 180° wide beam pattern illuminates the surrounding area with a wide and even beam. With a beam range of 160 metres, it makes close-up work and terrain exploration easy. In addition, the lamp has a separate red light function, which helps to preserve the darkness much better than white light. Unlike many other headlamps on the market, the light is powered by a separate power bank, which can be connected to to the luminaire via a cable with a USB-C header (plugged into the back of the headband). The long cable allows the power bank to be stored in a jacket pocket or backpack, reducing the weight on the head. The innovative power supply solution also maximises the life of the lamp, as the power banks often have a much larger capacity than conventional headlamp batteries.

The HU2000's luminaire head can be tilted by 85°, allowing the beam to be directed in a different direction to the eye. Tilting the lamp head is particularly useful when working in confined spaces, for example, or when reading a map or climbing. All lamp functions can be accessed via the power switch and MODE button on the top of the lamp head, and the large size of the buttons makes them easy to operate even with gloves on. A small 40 mAh battery is built into the lamp to act as an emergency reserve in case the power bank runs out unexpectedly. The lamp automatically switches to the lowest power mode, allowing you to navigate safely away from a construction site, for example. Shock, dust and water resistant construction. Quick guide

On/Off: Press and hold the switch to the bottom to turn the lamp on or off. The lamp can also be switched off by pressing the MODE button.

To change the power mode: when the lamp is switched on, it will light up in Low power mode. To change the power mode, press the switch and with each press of the switch the power mode will change from Low -> Mid -> High. Switch on Turbo by double tapping the switch and return to the previously used power mode by tapping the switch again.

Note: Turbo mode is only available when using a power supply that provides at least 20W of power and supports the PD protocol.

Red light: with the lamp off, press and hold the MODE button to switch the red light to Low power mode. Press the switch to toggle between Low, High and Flashing.

SOS and Beacon: With the light on or off, double-click the MODE button to turn on the SOS mode. Press the switch to toggle between SOS and Beacon modes. Double-click the MODE button to exit SOS/beacon mode.

Red tail light: With the lamp on, briefly press the switch to activate the red tail light. With a short press, the light will toggle between flashing, steady on and off. When the red light is on, press and hold the switch for one second to turn it off.

Keypad Lock: With the light off, press and hold both the switch and the MODE button for 2 seconds until the white light flashes three times and the keypad lock is activated. Open the keypad lock in the same way.

Charging: plug one end of the USB-C charging cable into the USB-C port on the light head and the other end into a power supply or power bank, for example.
