Headlamp Nitecore NU25 MCT UL - 400 lm / Rechargeable

The Nitecore NU25 MCT UL is an updated version of the manufacturer's NU25 UL headlamp. The updated headlamp is equipped with the same ultra-light construction, flat combination beam and red light, in addition to which the lamp has also been introduced with features that further improve the user experience. One of the biggest changes is the ability to adjust the color temperature of the light between warm 3000K, neutral 4500K and cold 6500K. Adjustable color temperature allows you to optimize the light beam for different weather and terrain conditions: in snow and rain, warm color tones are better than cold, while in clear weather, cooler colors offer better visibility and maximize range. Weighing only 47 grams (including headband), the NU25 MCT UL is one of the lightest headlamps on the market, and it is the perfect solution for, among other things, for trail running, hiking, camping and other activities where every gram counts. The light produces a maximum light output of 400 lumens and a beam range of up to 132 meters.

Nitecore's new MCT UHE LED technology combined with the optical TrueVision lens creates a truly even beam of light, which is also equipped with a better color rendering index than before. In addition to white light, the lamp also has a separate red light, which can be used in situations where you want to maintain your night vision as well as possible. The headband is made of elastic band finished with reflective details, which is a material so light and flexible that it practically does not add any additional weight to the head. The headband can be adjusted to fit any head using a convenient tightening lock, and the adjustment only takes a few seconds. This way, for example, the whole family can use the same lamp! All functions of the lamp can be operated using two push switches on it, meaning that switching between operating and power modes is effortless. The lamp comes with a handy diffuser bag, which makes it easy to transform the headlamp into a lantern, e.g. in a tent.

The lamp is powered by a built-in 650 mAh li-ion battery, which can be charged via the USB-C port on the body using the included charging cable. The charging port is protected from water and dirt with a silicone cover. With a full battery, the lamp currently offers up to 45 hours of continuous operation at a time, and four battery charge indicators keep the user informed of the battery status. The NU25 MCT UL is made of highly durable polycarbonate, and is also protected from water and dust according to the IP66 rating. Two-year (24 months) warranty!

Quick guide

On/Off: Turn the light on or off by pressing the power button for 1 second.

Mode selection: When the light is on, tap the Mode button, each press will cycle through the modes in the following order: Low -> Mid -> High. To change the color temperature, hold down the MODE button, and the color temperature will change as follows: 3000K -> 4500K -> 6500K.

Ultralow: When the light is off, double-click the power button to activate Ultralow mode.

Red light: When the light is off, press and hold the MODE button for about 1 second to activate the red light. To switch between steady and flashing light, press the MODE button briefly.

SOS and Beacon: Double-click the Mode button to activate the flashing functions. Toggle between SOS and Beacon mode by briefly tapping the power button. To return to other operating modes, double-click the Mode button again.

Key lock: When the light is not on, press and hold both the power button and the Mode button simultaneously for about 2 seconds until the light flashes 3 times. Disable key lock in the same way.

• Note! The key lock opens automatically when the lamp is connected to the charger!

Charging: Connect one end of the included charging cable to the USB-C charging port on the top of the lamp, and the other end to a computer or AC adapter, for example. The battery's four indicator lights indicate the charging progress as follows:

• Four lights: Battery 75-100%
• Three lights: 50-75%
• Two lights: 25-50%
• Single light: 0-25%
