Headlamp Nitecore NU35, 460 lm

The Nitecore NU35 is a versatile headlamp equipped with Nitecore's efficient TrueVision light cone. Perfectly suited for home use as well as hunting and outdoor life, or why not at work! NU35 offers a maximum light flux of 460 lm, and the USB-C rechargeable battery gives the lamp a burning time of e.g. 210 lm for 4 hours. The lamp can also be used with 3 AAA batteries, which gives an extended burning time (e.g. 210 lm for 6 hours). The white light provides a range of 48 m, and the lamp is also equipped with a red LED as well as a HI-CRI LED with warm color temperature and high color rendering index. The red light effectively preserves night vision, which is a sought-after feature for e.g. dark photography or map reading. The HI-CRI LED provides a true-to-life reproduction of colors. NU35 is waterproof according to IP66 classification, and shock-resistant (1 m).

When the lamp is used with AAA batteries, the regular battery does not need to be taken out - both can fit inside the lamp at the same time. On top of the lamp are two switches, one of which is used to control the white light and the other the red. The red light has three power modes (low, high and flashing). In this way, there is no risk of accidentally turning on the white light and destroying the night vision.

Quick guide

White light: Press the left switch (seen from the front) once to turn on the light. The following presses of the switch cycle through the power modes in the following order: Low-Mid-High-Off. If a power mode is activated for more than 3 seconds in any mode, the following press of the switch causes the lamp to turn off. Turbo mode is activated by turning on the light and then holding the switch down for one second. Turbo mode is active for 30 seconds, after which the luminous flux is reduced to 210 lumens to prevent overheating.

High CRI light: Hold down the bottom left switch for one second. The light is turned off by pressing the switch once.

Red LED: Press the R-marked switch (right from the front) once to activate the red light. Pressing the switch alternates between power modes in the following order: Low-High-Strobe-Off. If a power mode is activated for more than 3 seconds in any mode, the following press of the switch causes the lamp to turn off. The lamp can also be turned off by holding the switch.

SOS and Beacon: When the light is off, hold down the left switch for 3 seconds. The lamp lights up first in the High-CRI mode, and then in the SOS mode. Press the switch again for 3 seconds to enter the Beacon mode. The next press causes the light to go out.

Charging: Connect the USB cable to the AC adapter, a computer or other power source, and the other end to the lamp's USB port. The red charging indicator lights up when charging begins, and changes color to green when the battery is full. The battery charge can also be checked by holding down the right switch for a short time. The indicator then flashes 1-3 times depending on the remaining charge: 3 flashes = over 50% charge, 2 flashes = 10-50% charge and 1 flash = below 10% charge.
