The Petzl Swift RL is a high-performance, compact-sized rechargeable headlamp designed especially for outdoor activities. The lamp weighs only 100 grams, but it still produces a maximum light output of up to 1100 lumens and a range of 155 meters, so it is a lamp with an excellent size-to-power ratio. The Swift RL's high-quality combination beam directs the light widely both to the immediate environment and far ahead, which makes it an excellent choice for camping, everyday chores and, for example, jogging in the forest with the dog. The lamp uses its manufacturer's REACTIVE LIGHTING® technology, i.e. it always adjusts the light output according to the brightness of the environment. In practice, this means that during daylight the lamp uses low power mode, while in the darkness of the night it switches on bright power mode. The feature not only frees the user from operating the light, but also saves the battery, so the operating time can be maximized. Of course, the lamp can also be used completely manually if desired.

The Swift RL is equipped with both a white light and a separate red light. The red light is a useful feature in situations where you want to preserve your night vision as well as possible. It is also an excellent helper for e.g. for night photography, map reading and stargazing. The lamp head can also be tilted either up or down, so that the light can be focused in a direction that deviates from the eye when necessary. The supplied headband is ergonomically shaped, made of flexible fabric and finished with reflective details, so the pedestrian will not be noticed by motorists, no matter the direction of travel. In accordance with the IPX4 classification, the lamp is protected against splash water, so there is no need to pack it in the backpack covers during a downpour that happens during the hike. Swift RL works with a rechargeable 2350 mAh li-ion battery, which currently offers up to one hundred hours of continuous operation. The battery can be charged from empty to full in approx. 5 hours using the USB-C output port on the side of the lamp. Quick guide

Operation: Start the lamp by pressing the power switch once. Change the power mode by pressing the power switch, and the power modes change with each press as follows: Low -> Mid -> High -> Off. Switch between STANDARD mode and REACTIVE mode by holding down the power button for approx. 2 seconds. Activate the red light by turning on the light and holding down the power button for approx. 4 seconds. Switch to red flashing by tapping the power button, and switch back to white light by holding down the power switch.

Key lock: When the light is off, hold down the power switch for approx. 6 seconds, then the light will flash to indicate that the key lock is activated. Open the key lock by holding down the power button for approx. 4 seconds.
