Unilite HL-5R is a rechargeable headlamp with 325 lm luminous flux and innovative motion sensor technology. Thanks to its wide light pattern, the lamp is very well suited for working at close range. Using the infrared motion sensor, you can control the lamp with a wave of your hand. This feature comes in handy when you have dirty hands after work or when it's very cold outside and you need to check the lamp without taking off your gloves! The motion sensor can also be turned off if desired, and then the HL-5R works just like a normal headlamp. The durability of the lamp is also confirmed by the IP65 classification, which means that the lamp is flush-proof and completely dustproof.

The lamp's power source consists of a built-in 1500 mAh Li-ion battery, which provides 2 hours of burning time at the highest power setting. The lamp is charged through the micro-USB charging port. The charging time from empty to full battery is about 2.5 hours, and the indicator on the lamp shows the charging status. During charging, the indicator lights up red and then changes to green when charging is complete. The lamp's headband is pre-assembled, feels comfortable against the skin and is easy to adjust to suit the user. The lamp head can be angled 60° so that the light can be directed where you want.

Quick guide

If the lamp is to be used with the motion sensor, it needs to be activated through the right switch (seen from the front). If you wave your hand in front of the lamp, it lights up in Spot High mode, and when you wave again, the lamp turns off. The IR sensor detects the hand from about 15 cm away. To use the lamp as usual, switch off the motion sensor on the same switch. In the "normal" mode, you change the power mode by pressing the switch. The lamp switches between the power modes in the order: Low, High and OFF. When you use the lamp at the same power level for more than 3 seconds, pressing the switch turns the lamp off.
