Section 14 of the Hunting Decree provides for the use of a light source as follows:
"An artificial light source may be used when tracking and killing a wounded or tethered animal, and when killing a trapped animal." In addition, the use of light is permitted, for example, when hunting raccoon dogs.

A comprehensive weapon light set assembled around the Olight Javelot Turbo 2 flashlight, which includes, in addition to the powerful flashlight, a magnetic weapon mount, a wireless remote switch, a green and red color filter and of course the flashlight's charging cable, remote switch mount and storage bag. The Javelot Turbo 2 offers a maximum light output of up to 1800 lumens and an impressive range of 1500 meters, and its beam consists of an intense and narrow spot, around which plenty of diffuse light spreads to facilitate observation of nearby terrain. The neutral color temperature of the light (5200-6200K) makes it easy to observe terrain shapes and even small objects. The flashlight is attached to the weapon with a sturdy and stable magnetic mount (Olight X-WM03). The wireless remote switch allows the switch to be attached to various weapons at the support hand, allowing the flashlight to be used with a small finger movement without changing the weapon grip.

The set includes a green and red filter, which can be used to change the color of the light to suit the situation. The red filter is used to preserve the night vision of the eyes. You can, for example, read a map or observe your surroundings while maintaining maximum night vision. In addition, some animals, such as deer, see the red color spectrum quite poorly, so the red filter is also suitable for hunting (does not scare animals away). The green filter also preserves night vision almost as well as the red one. Used especially with night vision devices. Excellent for navigation and map reading. It is easier to see the environment with green light than with red light.

At the base of the lamp head, there is an inconspicuous magnetic dock for the remote switch, where it can be stored and charged wirelessly directly from the lamp's battery. In addition, there is a magnetic switch at the back of the lamp, which acts as both a switch and a charging port. The use of the lamp is also made easier by a second switch on the side, which allows the lamp to be used with a so-called "normal" grip. Javelot Turbo 2 is powered by a high-performance 5000 mAh li-ion battery, which can be charged inside the lamp either via the magnetic rear switch or via the USB-C port found on the lamp. With a full battery, the lamp offers continuous operating time in High power mode producing 600 lm for up to 6 hours at a time, while in the lowest power mode, the operating time increases to up to 272 hours.

The detailed surface texture of the lamp body ensures a firm grip in every situation, even if you don't have to worry about dropping the lamp: As is typical for Olight, this lamp is also built to last, as evidenced by the impact-resistant body made of strong aluminum alloy and the water and dust-resistant construction (IP67). Quick guide

To use: Unscrew the rear cap of the lamp and remove the insulating strip between the battery contacts. Screw the rear cap back into place. Also remove the protective film from the lens.

Lamp use:

The lamp can be operated from both the rear and side switches.

Stern clutch:

• A light press turns the light on in low power mode . A quick press keeps the light on, and a long press keeps the light on as long as the switch is held down.
• A strong press turns the lamp on in Turbo power mode . A quick press keeps the light on, and a long press keeps the light on as long as the switch is held down.

Side switch:

• Turn the light on or off by pressing the side switch for approx. 1 second. The light will turn on at the power level last used with the side switch. When the light is on, press the side switch to change the power level (Low -> Medium -> High -> Turbo).

Battery charge indicator: Tap the side switch once, and the LED indicator below it will light up and indicate the battery charge status as follows:

• Four green lights: More than 70% battery remaining
• Three green lights: 50-70% battery remaining
• Two green lights: 30-50% battery remaining
• One green light: Less than 10% battery remaining
