Lantern Nitecore LR40

The Nitecore LR40 is a retro-inspired rechargeable LED lantern suitable for camping and outdoor activities. Also suitable as mood lighting on the terrace or in the garden. The compact lantern LR40 does not take up much space, and is easy to carry around. The maximum luminous flux of the lantern is 100 lumens, with which the light burns continuously for up to 15 hours! By using a lower energy mode, it offers up to 65 hours of usage time, so the LR40 is a perfect light source even for longer periods of use. The lantern has a warm, orange color tone, as well as a warm and strong white light. In addition, it is equipped with a flashing red light, especially useful for camping. Red light is suitable for giving an emergency signal, for example. All operating modes of the lantern can be infinitely dimmed (excluding red light), so that the light output is always suitable for the situation. In this way, it can be used either for comprehensive lighting of the surroundings or as cozy mood lighting.

All functions of the lantern are easy to operate with the turn/push button on the lid. By pressing the power switch, the operating mode can be changed between warm, white and flashing red light. By turning the switch, the power mode of the lamp can be adjusted, so all adjustments can be made conveniently via the same button. The four blue indicator lights next to the power switch indicate the battery's state of charge, so it will never run out unexpectedly. The lantern has a metal handle that functions as a carrying/hanging handle, which can be used to either easily carry it in the hand or to hang it from, for example, a tree branch, in the tent or on a hook. The lantern can of course also be easily placed on the ground or on any flat surface.

The LR40 lantern's fixture is made of strong ABS plastic and the metal frame around the light source protects the lens from impacts, making it very durable and durable. The LR40 works with a built-in 4000 mAh Li-ion battery, which can be conveniently charged via the USB-C charging port on the side of the lamp. Next to the battery charging port there is also a traditional USB-A port, which means that the lantern can be used as a power bank for e.g. charging a phone.
