LED lantern Nitecore LR60, 280 lm

The Nitecore LR60 is an LED lantern with a high color rendering index, which not only functions as a lantern but also as a power bank and a battery charger. The LR60 can be used with both disposable and rechargeable batteries, or a combination of both. The lamp's high CRI number ensures that colors are reflected correctly to the human eye, mimicking sunlight. There are a total of 9 LEDs under the lamp's glass dome (3 on both sides and on top). It is possible to choose which LEDs are used and thus the lantern can shine in the direction needed. This function significantly saves the lamp's operating time, since the current consumed by the "extra" LEDs can be turned off. Of course, all LEDs can be lit at the same time, so that the lantern shines evenly in all directions and provides a luminous flux of up to 280 lumens. The lantern has three levels of light flow and two flashing functions, which can, for example, be used as signal and indicator lights.

Another special feature of the lantern is that it can be used both with disposable batteries and with rechargeable batteries. Either 1 or 2 18650 or 21700 batteries or 2 or 4 CR123A batteries act as power sources. In addition, any of these can be used crosswise, that is, the lantern works with, for example, an 18650 battery and two CR123A batteries. The batteries can be easily charged through the USB-C port on the bottom of the lantern, and the batteries do not need to be removed during charging. The charge indicator in the lantern shows the charge level - a blue flashing light means charging is in progress, the lamp lights up steadily when the battery is full. In addition, there is a USB output on the bottom of the lantern, thanks to which the capacity of the batteries can also be used as a power bank, i.e. as a backup power source for charging, for example, a mobile phone. Both ports are properly protected against water and dirt.

Hanging the lantern on a hook or tent rope is easy thanks to the solid, retractable hanging hook. If necessary, the hook folds neatly into the lamp, which means that it stands very firmly even on, for example, a table. In addition, there is a powerful magnet in the base, which allows the lamp to be easily attached to a metal surface as well! Overall, the Nitecore LR60 is a safe choice for both camping and general home use.

Quick guide

ON/OFF: Turn on the light by holding down the power switches at the bottom of the lantern at the same time until the LOW power mode illuminates. The lamp is turned off in the same way by pressing the buttons.

Changing power mode: When the light is on, short press either power switch, and the power mode changes with each press in the following order: Medium - High - Low.

Setting the lighting direction: When the light is on, long press either button, and the settings will go through in the following order: Main - Side - Main + Side - All. Release the power switch when the desired setting is active. The last used setting remains in the lamp's "memory", but the lamp always lights up in low power mode by default.

Special functions SOS/Fyr: When the light is off, press and hold both buttons at the same time. The lamp switches through the operating modes in the following order: Low - Four - SOS. Release the power switch when the desired function is active.

Charging: Charging starts by connecting the charging cable to the charging connector. The charging indicator in the lantern shows the charging stage - a blue flashing light means charging is in progress, the lamp lights up steadily when the battery is full.
