AGGE 12V LED strip is a high-quality 10 W/m (855 lm/m) light strip for dry and damp spaces (IP65). Its power makes it ideal for creating direct lighting in spaces and furniture, and thanks to its moisture protection, it can also be installed near faucets in kitchens or toilets. It is also suitable for mood lighting in bathrooms or under sauna benches. As a COB type strip, there are no individual LEDs visible, but it glows completely uniformly along its entire length, ensuring perfect spot-free and even lighting. The strip is protected by high-quality and non-yellowing silicone, which cannot be distinguished from the strip with the naked eye, meaning this strip can also be used in visible installations without fear of an ugly end result. The strip can be shortened or extended and dimmed according to your needs. Available in either warm 3000K or neutral 4000K color temperature, in 500 cm rolls.

All AGGE LED strips have a very high color rendering index (CRI>90), which allows colors to be reproduced naturally and clearly. This is especially important indoors, as the colors of surfaces and furniture are reproduced exactly as they should be, and the lighting does not change the hue in one direction or the other. The 200 cm long connecting cables with ready-made connectors at both ends of the strip are features appreciated by professionals, which make installation easier and enable a neat installation, as the connections can be hidden from view. In addition, the strip has ready-made cutting points every 2.3 cm, and thanks to the connectors at both ends, the rest of the cut strip is easy to use. When power is supplied from one end, the strip can be connected for 3 meters without dimming anywhere. Longer installations of up to 6 meters can be implemented by supplying power to the strip from both ends. The tape comes with a shrink sleeve that can be used to restore the watertightness of a cut tape. Two-year (24 months) warranty!

What is a COB LED strip?

COB stands for Chip on Board, and refers to a LED strip in which individual LED dots are not visible like in cheaper strips, but the light is completely even along the entire length of the strip. COB LED strips with uniform illumination are suitable for situations where the strip is visible or where the strip otherwise requires the most even and high-quality lighting. With a COB strip, for example, a strip mounted near a wall or above a shiny tabletop is not reflected as individual light dots, but as a completely even strip of light.

LED strips enable a wide range of lighting solutions at home, in offices and in public spaces: lighting can be implemented either as so-called direct lighting (the light source is visible, e.g. an LED strip embedded in a slatted ceiling) or as so-called indirect lighting, i.e. the light source is not visible but the light is reflected, e.g. through a wall. LED strips can be used, for example, as a backlight for a bed headboard, chest of drawers or television. They can also be used to illuminate breakfast cabinets, kitchen worktops or steps or railings on staircases. LED strips can also be embedded, e.g. in a slatted ceiling or can be used to highlight recesses and designs in the ceiling or walls. Indirect lighting with LED strips can be created, e.g. in a plinth, under sauna benches, behind mirrors or even on top of kitchen furniture. LED strips allow you to play with light and implement even difficult lighting solutions, which is why they have become an important part of lighting design. Thanks to their easy installation, they can also be added to the interior at a later date.
