On the controls below the motion detector, you can e.g. customize the desired burning time (ie how long the lamp should shine when motion is detected), the sensor's sensitivity (how little movement is required for the lamp to light up), timed ignition (ie whether the sensor should only detect movement during the dark hours of the day), and the direction for the sensor, if you want motion to always be detected in a specific direction.
