Modifiable LED strip Airam Linear, 4000K, 2022

Airam Linear is a modifiable LED strip that makes it easy to install customized lighting wherever you want. The LED strip is available in 4 different long designs, and needs to be supplemented with a transformer, splice and extension parts and different types of switches, which makes it possible to tailor the lighting to your exact needs. Each strip comes with a suitable bracket, so that the strip can be mounted either on a flat surface or at a 45° angle. The color temperature of this strip is neutral (4000K).

Buying guide

Before buying, you should think about how long the LED strip you need. When you have arrived at the length, you need to find out if the strip is to be mounted straight or if it needs to be angled around one or more corners, so you need to know how long the pieces are to make up the entire strip.

Next, you need to calculate how much power the list requires. Above are figures on how much power each length requires, so with the help of that it is easy to calculate how much power the entire device will require. For example, a 2.3 m long strip (composed of 2 pieces 100 cm long and 1 piece 30 cm long) requires the following power: 15W + 15W + 5W = 35W. The transformer needs to have a higher power than what the list requires, so in this case at least a 40W transformer is required, but even a larger one works well. Also decide if you want a warm white (3000K) or a neutral white (4000K) strip. If you'd rather have a warm white, you'll find it here: Airam Linear, 3000K .

If the strip is mounted straight, no separate corner connectors/joints are needed, but the pieces can be connected directly to each other. If, however, you want to mount it at an angle, e.g. around a corner or along the edges of a cabinet, you need an angle connector. You can find it here: Airam Linear angle connector. A 330 cm cord is included with the transformer, but if the wall outlet is further away, you can supplement with an extension cord to reach. From the same switch, you can also distribute the current to a maximum of 4 separate strips, which is done with a splice cord.

Finally, you need to choose a suitable switch. Our range includes a traditional switch with a button, one with a motion sensor and a dimmer.
