Protective film Foliatec Headlight

Although most of the lenses in auxiliary lights are made of virtually unbreakable polycarbonate and the lens will not crack under even a slightly harder impact, the ravages of time can still wear away at the surface. Snow removal, cleaning dirty lenses, branches scraping the bow, and sand and debris from a car in front will scratch the lens. The protective film effectively prevents scratches by simply absorbing the impact and scratches. Once the surface is scratched, the film is very easy to remove from the surface, revealing the original, flawless surface underneath. Foliatec Headlight is an easy and durable way to protect your headlight lenses from minor stone chips, branch scratches, scratches from road dust and all other minor mechanical damage. The film is effectively a "tape" that is applied over the lens of the auxiliary light to provide long-lasting and durable protection to the original surface .Foliatec films are suitable for all types of auxiliary lights and provide very strong protection against yellowing and UV radiation. They also repel water and dirt effectively, making cleaning much easier! Thanks to its flexible and easy-to-form design, the PPF film is easy to install, making it an excellent choice even for novice installers.

The membrane is available in four different colours: clear, yellow, smoke grey and red. The clear one is suitable for discreet protection of lights and does not affect the light's properties. The yellow film, on the other hand, turns the light into a natural yellow, which works better than white light, especially in water, snow, fog or dusty environments. In addition to being more transparent to fog or snow dust than bright white light, yellow light does not reflect and glare from obstacles such as those mentioned above as white light does. The yellow film slightly reduces the original light. Smoke grey and red film, on the other hand, are mainly intended to change the appearance of the light, and both reduce the original luminous intensity considerably.

In addition to the film, the package includes a pulling tray, a carpet knife and installation instructions (in English). The coloured films also come with an installation liquid.

  • 300 x 1650 mm: intended to protect round lights with a diameter of 300 mm. Sufficient for seven 230 mm lights
• Yellow, smoke grey, red:
  • 300 x 1000 mm: suitable for all round lights up to 300 mm in diameter and max. 100 cm long panels. Sufficient for four 230 mm lights.
