The Nightsearcher Trio 550 is a powerful searchlight designed for demanding professional use. Three efficient CREE LEDs account for the light output from the Trio 550 lamp, which with a luminous flux of 550 lumens forms a narrow light beam that has a range of up to 600 meters, which is excellent for e.g. for search and rescue missions. The lamp provides a continuous burning time of up to three hours at full power, and at half power the burning time can be increased to seven hours. Unlike many other lamps on the market, the Trio 550 has a function that turns on the light if the lamp loses power. This is an excellent feature, for example in the event of a power failure.

Although the lamp is larger than ordinary flashlights, its weight has been limited to only 650 grams. It is also equipped with a practical handle and a shoulder strap, which makes the operation of the lamp easy. Thanks to the handle, the lamp can be hung in the hand and no additional pressure is required to carry it, and the shoulder strap allows the entire weight of the lamp to be transferred from the hand to the shoulder, for example during transport. In this case, both hands can either be freed for work or for rest. When the lamp is not in use, it can be stored in the included robust docking bracket, which can be mounted, for example, on a wall or on the side of a vehicle. With the help of the bracket, the storage location of the lamp always remains the same, and thus it also always remains accessible to the user.

The lamp's performance is ensured by the built-in 4000 mAh Li-ion battery, which can be charged directly via the micro-USB port on the side of the lamp. If necessary, the lamp can also be used as a power bank, for example to charge a mobile phone or tablet. The lamp is made of very durable plastic and the lens is made of practically unbreakable polycarbonate. In addition, the Trio 550 is protected against water and dust according to enclosure class IP54. In this way, it can handle all situations and tasks it encounters without any problems. Quick guide

On/off: Press the power button on the top of the lamp to turn on the light and turn off the light in the same way.

Change power mode: When the light is on, turn on the lower power mode by holding down the power button for 3 seconds. Turn on the maximum power mode again by holding down the power button again for 3 seconds.

Flashing: When the light is off, hold down the power button for 3 seconds, then the light will flash. Press the power button to turn off the light.

Charging: Connect one end of the supplied micro-USB charging cable to the lamp and the other end to, for example, the power adapter or cigarette lighter socket supplied with the vehicle, and charging will start. If you want to use the safety function included in the lamp (the lamp turns on when the charging current is interrupted, for example due to a power failure), turn on the lamp and then charge. When charging is in progress, the indicator light next to the power switch will be red, and when charging is complete, it will turn green.
