The Nitecore TIKI UV is a very small and compact key ring lamp that offers an incredibly powerful UV light of up to 1000 mW with a wavelength of 365 nm. In addition to its UV light, there are also two LEDs on the body of the flashlight that shine with a white light. These LEDs have a high color rendering index, which means that the colors reflected to the human eye are very accurate, and can be compared to the light from the sun. The white light can shine with a steady glow or with a strobe to call attention, for example. Nitecore TIKI UV has two power modes for the UV light (1000 mW and 180 mW) and two modes for the "regular flashlight" (70 lm and 35 lm) plus the flashing strobe effect. The Nitecore TIKI UV is an excellent choice for those who need a small and versatile flashlight but incredibly effective UV lamp for hobby or work.
Ultraviolet radiation is invisible to the human eye, but when the UV beam is directed at different materials, the material lights up depending on the degree of fluorescence. This is used, for example, during quality checks in industry, to verify banknotes, security checks, etc. Even doormen can use UV flashlights at various events to check the UV stamp that visitors received at the entrance.
Nitecore TIKI UV is very easy to use: the UV light turns on when the switch is quickly double-clicked. To change the power setting, simply press the power switch and the flashlight switches between high and low power settings. TIKI UV is turned off by holding down the power switch. The UV light can also be turned on by holding down the power switch when the flashlight is off, then the UV light will shine as long as the power switch is held down. The white LEDs are lit by pressing the power switch three times when the lamp is off, then the LEDs are lit at a low power. The power mode is changed by pressing the power switch and changes in the following order: High - Flashing - Low. By holding down the power switch, the lamp is turned off.
Nitecore TIKI UV is made of durable polycarbonate and is dust and waterproof according to IP66 classification. The battery that powers the flashlight is a built-in 130 mAh Li-ion battery that is charged through the integrated Micro-USB port in the lamp, a charge that from 0 to 100 takes only 80 minutes. Charging ends automatically when the battery is full.
Note! The flashlight is charged through a Micro-USB cable, a cable that is not included. The flashlight is compatible with any Micro-USB cable.
