Warning light Purelux Strobe HD - 15W / 12V/24V

The Purelux Strobe HD 15W is a stylish and slim surface mounted warning light / strobe light, which is specially designed as part of the lighting of work machines and heavy equipment. Strobe HD is suitable for mounting on, for example, the rear, side or bumper of a vehicle. Thanks to the slim structure and design, the light fits neatly and unobtrusively into the vehicle's structures. Strobe HD is equipped with six orange 3W LEDs with up to 26 different operating modes. Thanks to the wide operating voltage, the lamp can be connected to both 12V and 24V systems.

Strobe HD is approved for road traffic according to the ECE R65XA2 standard. Lamps with this standard are approved for both day and night use, so that the light can be used in road traffic around the clock. In daylight, the warning light is bright enough to be easily noticed, while in night mode, the light output is adjusted so that it does not dazzle the driver or others moving in the area. Dimmed night mode can be turned on with the green wire coming from the lamp cable. In addition to the orange warning light, an orange turn signal can also be lit with the green cord from the light, which is not approved for road traffic, however. The stylish appearance combined with the small size ensures that the warning light fits practically all vehicles. The light is also protected against radio interference according to the R10 standard. If desired, several lamps can be connected together to work together, in this way the warning lights can flash in the same operating mode at the same time, so that the lighting is uniform. The lamps can be synchronized with each other by connecting the yellow cables coming from the lamp. If the white wires in addition to the yellow one are connected to the power (+) of some of the lights, they are always lit when the others (those without white wire connected) are off and vice versa. In this way, the lights can also be synchronized so that they flash at different speeds, i.e. alternately. In this case, for example, half of a large number of lights can be made to flash at a different time than the other half. Of course, this can also be activated with only two lights. Synchronization works with lamps in the same series.

Note! Purelux Strobe HD is ECE R65XA2 approved, so it can be used in European road traffic! The XA2 marking in the approval means that the light has both day and night mode separately.

Connection (cables)

  • Synchronization: select the same operating mode for the lamps to be synchronized, then connect the blue wires of the lamps. In this way, the lamps flash in the same rhythm and change operating mode (all together) when the operating mode of a lamp changes.
  • Change operating mode: Apply power (+) to the blue wire, the lamp changes operating mode. Can be implemented with a circuit breaker (the cable is connected to the battery or other power source, and a pressure switch is inserted in between)
