Olight BALDR Pro R is a combined high-efficiency weapon light and laser sight for pistol and rifle use. In addition to the fantastic light output of 1350 lumens and a range of 200 m, the lamp also has a green laser sight, which can of course be aimed. Thanks to the robust construction and the sturdy adjustment screws, the angle does not change despite bumps and bangs. Baldr Pro R has a user-friendly and durable quick-release mechanism known from other Olight lights, so the light can be attached and detached from the rail in seconds without tools. Unlike many similar weapon light and laser sight combinations, the Baldr Pro R has the laser sight integrated into the same reflector as the light, eliminating the need for a separate laser module under the light. The solution makes the lamp lighter and reduces the space considerably. In addition, the integration of the laser allows a magnetic connection port to be added to the fixture, through which both the lamp can be charged and the magnetic remote control switch can be attached to a longer weapon.

The switch on the Baldr Pro R is a well-known and intelligently implemented double switch from the previous models, which makes it possible to use the lamp from both the right and left side, whichever side is most natural to you. The power switch thus comes on both sides, the extended power switches make it easy to push in both from the back and from the side. This allows the light to be used with different firearms and in different locations. Which light mode is to be used (white light only, light + green laser or laser only) is selected through the practical adjustment wheel located on the lamp head. Baldr Pro R's built-in 1000 mAh Li-Po battery provides a burn time of 54 minutes at full power and a burn time of 93 minutes at a lower power level of 300 lm. The light pattern of the lamp is a perfect combination of spot and wide diffused light, with a spot area of 200 m, and the diffused light illuminates the surrounding areas with lower light output.

The lamp is excellent for both official and hobby use, both with pistols and longer weapons.

Quick guide

On/off: The lamp turns on (in selected setting) and turns on/off by pressing the power button once. For immediate operation, press and hold the power switch while the lamp is off

Operating mode: The operating mode can be selected as light only, light + laser or laser only. Operating mode is selected with the adjustment wheel on the front of the lamp.

Button lock: The lamp is equipped with a button lock which is activated by pressing and holding one power switch for half a second and subsequently holding the other power switch at the same time for two seconds. The light will flash to indicate that the key lock has been activated. The lamp can then only light temporarily (with a luminous flux of 100 lm) by holding one of the switches. To disable the key lock, the same process is carried out, hold one power button for half a second and the other for two seconds.

Strobe: The strobe function can be activated by pressing both switches simultaneously

Power mode: To change the power mode, double-click one of the switches while the light is on. The lamp remembers the previous power mode that was used and lights up the next time with the same power. With the light off, double-click one of the switches to enter a more efficient mode.
