The Olight Odin IR is a picatinny rail mounted weapon light that offers a combined white and infrared light developed entirely for military use and hobby shooting. Odin IR is designed for demanding professional use, and for conditions where extreme performance and reliability are required from the lamp. With its white light, the lamp has a luminous flux of 1000 lm and an impressive range of 400 m. In addition, Odin IR, as the name suggests, also offers infrared lighting, invisible to the naked eye, intended to be used with a light amplifier (dark vision device) with an excellent power of 150 mW. The light is equipped with a removable picatinny rail mount, with which the light can be attached to the side of the side of the weapon, either at the level of the barrel or above it, without breaking the sight picture. The Odin IR's end switch is fitted with a magnet, enabling both magnetic USB charging and quick attachment of the remote control switch. Like other lights in the Odin series, the Odin IR is also designed for tough use, as evidenced by its impressive performance and truly robust, IPX8-rated construction. The included remote control is attached to the back of the lamp with a magnet, and can also be locked in place, so that the switch does not come loose, for example when accessories are pulled against the cord. The remote control is also equipped with an adapter suitable for a picatinny rail. The remote control that comes with the Odin IR is dual-functional, that is, by pressing the power button, the lamp can be turned on either temporarily or permanently. The remote control's two different power switches have different functions: the larger switch, which covers 80% of the control's surface, controls the HI power mode, and the smaller switch, correspondingly, the LOW power mode. As the lamp was developed specifically with military use in mind, the illumination mode to be used (white or IR light) is selected from the physical rotary knob on the front of the lamp. In this way, the light cannot be switched on accidentally, for example with white light, if the intention is to work without visible light in infrared mode. The rotary switch also allows the light to be locked, so that it will not come on in any power mode, even if the power switches are depressed. The lamp is charged from the USB port with a very practical charger equipped with a magnet. The magnetic charger grips the charging connector on the back of the lamp almost by itself. The updated charger offers fast charging (2A charging current) and charges the 5000 mAh battery from empty to full in about 5.5 hours.

The included rail mount enables easy and quick mounting of the light on picatinny rails. The bracket is placed in the desired position and tightened with two hexagon screws. The lamp is attached by sliding the integrated rail into the bracket's groove. The bracket has two different mounting grooves - on the top and on the side. This allows the lamp to be mounted either level with the barrel or above it without breaking the scope image. The lamp can of course be quickly removed from the mount, so it can be used as a traditional flashlight or infrared light. The versatile attachment options offer unmatched straightness compared to other similar products.

Note! The IR light is not visible to the naked eye, but is intended for use with e.g. night vision. In this way, the light is not detected by the naked eye, but only seen by those with night vision. The IR light enables work in total darkness, without visible light.

Quick guide

Before use

• Open the screw cap on the back of the lantern by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the insulating plastic between the battery and the lamp, screw the cover firmly.

Use

• Choose which lighting to use through the switch on the front of the lamp: White or IR light. In the OFF position, the light is locked and does not light up in any of the positions.
• The Odin IR's power button can be pressed lightly or fully. A light press activates low light effect, and a hard press activates full effect. Briefly press the button to turn the lamp on and off. By long pressing the power switch (light or hard) you can use the lantern momentarily for the desired time. The light turns off when you release the power switch.
• Remote Control Switch: Attach the remote control switch with the magnetic connector to the back of the lamp and lock it in place by pressing the locking ring. Either high power (large switch) or low power (small switch) can be selected via the remote control switch: with a short press, the light stays on and off in the same way, and with a long press, the light stays on as long as the switch is pressed. The remote control works in both modes, white light or infrared light.
