PRODUCT DESCRIPTION - DELIVERY CONTENT - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
Purelux Heat 7200 is a round auxiliary light with cutting-edge technology and entirely unique features designed for the harsh Swedish winter. It boasts a modern design with a dark finish and frameless construction. What truly sets this auxiliary light apart is its heated lens and dual-color parking lights. Additionally, the Heat 7200 offers two power modes: an E-marked mode approved for road use (E-approved) and the unrestricted Purelux PowerBoost® mode, surpassing E-marking to unleash maximum power, resulting in a measured light output of 6039 lumens and a measured range of nearly half a kilometer (Purelux PowerBoost®)!
Advanced reflector technology and efficient LEDs create a perfectly combined light pattern that illuminates both broadly and far ahead of the vehicle. Despite a softer vertical cutoff, there's still sufficient diffused light for driving in uneven terrain. The wide beam effectively lights up the road's periphery, enabling early detection of, for instance, animals crossing the road. With its PowerBoost® mode, this auxiliary light is suitable for off-road vehicles and work machinery that require extra power. Regardless of vehicle type, Purelux Heat 7200 enhances the driving experience and road safety, making it an excellent choice for both professional and private use.
Purelux PowerBoost® - Most auxiliary lights sold today come with what is known as an E-marking. This signifies that the auxiliary lights must be power-limited to meet the traffic approval requirements in certain European countries. These regulations may not apply to every country; some countries might have special exceptions. To comply with these regulations, manufacturers produce auxiliary lights with E-markings, enabling them to be sold throughout the entire European market. Consequently, the output is limited in nearly all additional lights. However, by activating the PowerBoost® mode, you can bypass the E-marking and unleash the full potential of the auxiliary lights when the approval is not needed, in for example offroad or rally uses.
Purelux Heat 7200's features have been developed to withstand the challenging weather conditions in the North, with year-round use in mind. The light can be connected to provide heat to the lens either continuously when the vehicle is running (the auxiliary light itself doesn't need to be on) or conventionally when the auxiliary light is activated. This allows for preheating the lens, even on a well-lit road that doesn't require the auxiliary light to be on, ensuring it's ready when you encounter dark environments and turn on the auxiliary light. Additionally, this function prevents the lens from freezing if the auxiliary light needs to be turned off during the journey, such as on a well-lit road or when following another vehicle. Purelux Heat 7200 uses a unique, energy-efficient technology to heat the lens: The heating elements are placed on both sides of the lamp and transfer heat through the hardened glass lens to the entire front surface. Glass conducts heat significantly more efficiently than polycarbonate, allowing the lens to heat up quickly and effectively. Depending on the connection, the resistors automatically activate either when the vehicle or the auxiliary light itself starts (or, if desired, the heat can be connected behind a separate power switch) and turn off automatically when the temperature rises above 70°C.
Unlike other auxiliary lights, no extra cord needs to be connected or disconnected to activate the lamp's different power modes, but switching between PowerBoost® and road mode is unprecedentedly easy by pressing the button at the end of the lamp. The last used power mode remains in the lamp's "memory", and thus there is no need, for example, in road traffic use, to ensure that the lamp always turns on at maximum power, when the power is turned off in between and the car starts moving again.
NOTE! The difference between PowerBoost® and road traffic mode is clearly noticeable in use - PowerBoost® is significantly more efficient. PowerBoost® is designed for off-road use.
The 5000K color temperature has been optimized for challenging Nordic conditions, providing comfortable illumination for the eyes, even during night driving or in snow-covered landscapes. The balanced color temperature makes it easier to perceive the terrain's shapes and contours while not straining the eyes during long drives. Additionally, a 5000 Kelvin color temperature is better suited for adverse weather conditions such as fog and rain. The 5000K color temperature also complements newer vehicles equipped with LED or Xenon lights.
Purelux Heat 7200's dark profile and optics, along with its elegant orange or white parking lights, make this round auxiliary light a complete and modern addition for all types of vehicles. Furthermore, the hardened glass lens is more resistant to scratches from small stones, branches, dirt, and other abrasives encountered during driving compared to polycarbonate. The front of the Purelux Heat 7200 is entirely flat, eliminating any frame that might accumulate snow, ice, or dirt. This design keeps the lens clean even in adverse weather conditions, requiring minimal cleaning and allowing for hassle-free installation at higher mounting points. The frame itself is constructed from strong, powder-coated, UV-protected aluminum, built to withstand rigorous use and tough conditions.
The auxiliary light comes with a mounting foot, and installation is simplified by the 2-pole DTP connector already present in the light's power cable, along with pre-made positive cables from the main power supply to the parking lights and the E-marked power mode. The wide operating voltage range (9-36 V) enables installation in both 12V and 24V systems. The Heat 7200 is shielded against radio interference in accordance with the ECE R10 standard. Comes with a two-year (24-month) warranty!
Valostore's comment: "The comprehensive features of the Purelux Heat 7200 have been designed with the long, cold and harsh Nordic winter in mind. Heat ensures that the lens never freezes or gets covered with snow while driving, as the heating resistors are automatically switched on when the lens temperature drops too low . The light resistors can be connected to keep the lens melted when the auxiliary light is always on or, exceptionally, also only when the vehicle is running. This way, for example, the frost that has accumulated on the lens during the night before setting off, or the snow that has accumulated when driving in bright light, before the dark, can be melted from the lens. Thanks to the PowerBoost™ mode, the lamp a really large amount of power can be harnessed, and this, combined with the automatically heated lens, make the lamp a really versatile additional light. In addition, the popular two-color parking light and dark profile make Heat a stylish addition to any vehicle!"

Connections
The heating works in the light whenever the light is on. In addition, it is possible to connect it to work even when the light is not lit, by connecting the power to the green wire.
Switching on the heating when the light is not on: The most common connections for the heating are either controlling it with its own switch or so that the heating is always on when the vehicle is running. In this way, the light can be kept dim even when the high beams are off, so that it is already dim when additional light is needed.
When controlling with a switch, the power cable is connected to e.g. the plus terminal of the battery or another fixed power point, from where the cable is pulled into the cockpit, connected to the switch, and from the switch is again extended to the green wire of the light. When connected in this way, the heating is always on when the switch is set to the ON position.
If you want the heating to always work when the vehicle is running, you should find a place/fuse in the engine room/fuse box that only gets power when the vehicle is running. When such a place is found, a wire is connected to it, the other end of which is connected to the green wire of the light. In this way, the heating is always on when the vehicle is running.
