The Purelux Road Curve C530 Slim is a graceful led bar with a very precise light pattern, which was developed based on the best-selling Purelux Road Curve that won tests. The C530 Slim culminates Curve's many years of development into an all-new, low-slung and slim-frame led bar equipped with this season's most sought-after features. The light features a narrow beam optimized for road traffic, a neutral 5000K color temperature, two different power modes, a white and orange parking light, modern stylish dark optics and a frameless lens. Thanks to the two power modes, the bar can be switched on either the lower power mode approved for road traffic or the Purelux Powerboost® mode suitable for off-road use, which harnesses the full potential of the light by forming a precise combined beam of light that reaches over half a kilometer (523 m @ 1 lux) with a measured light output of 7869 lumens.

Note! You can clearly see the difference between Purelux PowerBoost® and road traffic mode - PowerBoost® mode is significantly more efficient and should not be used when driving in normal road traffic, only off-road .

Purelux Road Curve 1.0 (on the basis of which the C530 Slim is developed) won a really extensive additional light test in Sweden organized by the Swedish magazine Vi bilägre. The Road Curve C530 Slim has kept all the main features, only further improved. One of the most praised features is the Curve's precise, optimal beam, which is also retained in this model. In addition, the Purelux PowerBoost® feature has been introduced to the light, with which the light output can be multiplied for e.g. off-road use. The bar has also been made considerably slimmer and lower than before, which enables neat installation in all vehicles.

The Road Curve has always been known for its tightly defined spotlight in the vertical direction, and this has not been changed in the Slim model either. The lamp's beam cuts out the unnecessary up-down diffuse light, which enables all the light output to be directed both far ahead and wide to the edges of the road, i.e. exactly where it is needed. Thanks to the unique beam, the C530 works excellently on roads that seem endlessly straight and also in very bad weather conditions, because, for example, when a snowstorm hits, the bar does not illuminate the white dishcloths falling from the sky, but focuses the light only on the road ahead. The low light beam also allows the light to be installed at practically any height, and unlike many lights with a rounder beam, the C530 also works brilliantly when installed below the shield.

Almost all forest animals living in the North move around at dusk and when it's dark, which requires special vigilance from road users. An efficient additional light helps here, but high light output alone does not guarantee maximum visibility. For this reason, the C530 Slim is equipped with a neutral color temperature of 5000 Kelvin, which is optimized specifically for road traffic. The neutral color temperature facilitates e.g. observation of landforms and possible obstacles, animals and traffic signs, and it does not reflect light back into the driver's eyes from nature's white snow cover or false colors of the environment. In addition, the neutral color temperature works better than cool shades in bad weather conditions, and it helps to keep your eyes sharp in the seemingly endless darkness. The 5000K color temperature fits nicely with newer cars with standard LED or Xenon lights, and brings the desired brightness and sharpness even alongside the own lights of older vehicles equipped with halogen lights.

The Road Curve C530 Slim has a modern appearance, and its contemporary dark optics and black profile allow for a stylish and unobtrusive installation. The carbon fiber details, the orange or white parking light at the bottom of the light, and the frameless lens that prevents the accumulation of snow and ice make it a wonderful addition to any car. In addition to the striking appearance, the light is also very durable, which is ensured by e.g. with a practically unbreakable Lexa polycarbonate lens, a body made of powder-coated and UV-protected aluminum, and an IP68 tightness rating, according to which the bar is completely protected from dust and water.

The light is supplied with traditional end legs and width-adjustable rail fasteners, so it is easy to attach. There are rails for fasteners both above and below the lamp, so the lamp can be installed either in the traditional way to stand on its feet or it can be "hung" for example below the license plate to hang without having to turn the lamp itself upside down. The installation is also facilitated by the support iron counter pieces supplied, and the connection is facilitated by the 2-pole DT connector already in place in the led bar's power cord and the plus wires that go separately to the parking lights. The wide operating voltage range (9-30V) enables connection to both 12V and 24V systems, and the light's reference number (37.5) enables installation alongside practically all standard lights without having to remove the original lights! In addition, the lamp is protected against radio interference in accordance with the ECE R10 standard. Two-year (24 months) warranty!

Coupling

When the additional light is connected using the DT-2 connector, it lights up in PowerBoost® mode. Power mode approved for road traffic can be switched on by connecting the black wire to ground and the blue and red to power.
