The AGGE COB 230V LED strip is a professional and domestic strip light, powered directly from the mains (230V), for general lighting in homes, holiday homes, work sites, construction and renovation sites, etc. The COB strip differs from traditional LED strips in that it is equally bright all the way through and provides perfectly uniform and spotless lighting. The AGGE COB strip can therefore be used to create beautiful and evenly distributed lighting on terraces, carports, staircase railings, garden plantings, etc., or to carry out precision work. Its highly flexible and durable construction, neutral colour temperature and bright light output make it an excellent choice even for challenging environments. Fully waterproof to IP65, the ribbon has excellent resistance to changing conditions, allowing it to be used in damp environments and outdoors regardless of the season.

With a CRI (colour rendering index) of over 80 and a neutral colour temperature of 4000 kelvin, the ribbon can be used in all weather conditions, even in the most extreme conditions. This, combined with a perfectly even light distribution, results in a very pleasant, harmonious lighting that reproduces the natural colours of the surroundings. Thanks to its high CRI and eye-friendly colour temperature, the AGGE COB strip can also be used in renovation projects, for example, to provide additional light for painting work, or to create natural lighting in windowless spaces. The strip can be extended up to 100 metres (1200 W) if required, so that the lighting can be adapted to suit the application. The strip has 260 LEDs per metre and a light output of up to 1500 lumens per metre. With a beam angle of 120°, the ribbon distributes the light perfectly evenly around it, providing illumination over a very wide area. The LED strip is supplied in a handy reel with wheels and a pull handle, which makes it easy to unpack for use and to roll back up for storage and transport.

At one end of the LED strip, a 170 cm power cord with a plug is pre-installed, so the strip is ready to use. A connector at the other end of the strip allows the strip to be extended up to 100 metres or 1200W, providing an unimaginably large area of illumination in one go.

As accessories for the LED strip, a splitter piece is available, which can be used to branch off two separate light strips from one power cord, and in addition, plastic brackets are also available, with which the strip can be attached to the wall or ceiling to hang. A mounting strip is also available for attaching the tape, which allows it to be installed neatly. Magnetic cable clips can also be used for fastening, which are available in both 22 mm and 31 mm sizes. There's also an emergency power bank available for the light strip, for example in case of power outages.

NOTE! The tape works with 230V direct current (instead of alternating current), which means that it always requires its own power cord to be used when connecting to the mains. Straighten the entire strip before turning on the power to avoid overheating!

Quick guide

1. Turn the connection cap counter-clockwise to remove it from the first LED strip
2. Unplug the power cable from the second set of LED strips
3. Connect the LED strip sets by plugging the female and male connectors together. Tighten the connection cap.
4. Repeat the previous steps for the following LED strip sets.
5. Attach the strip end cap and tighten carefully to prevent it from coming loose and water from getting inside the cap.

NOTE! Make sure that the power cable is not attached to the power plug when connecting the strips together. Do not exceed the 100 m limit or the maximum power rating of 1200 W indicated by the manufacturer! Also, the tape cannot be cut. Straighten the entire tape before connecting the power to avoid overheating!

LED strip commissioning

• Straighten the entire strip before switching on the power to avoid overheating! Make sure that the joints of the LED strip are properly tightened. Install the LED strip according to the instructions and with the appropriate mounting hardware, and ensure that there are no hazardous substances such as water, flammable gases or fine dust in the environment. Connect the power cable to a 230V power socket.
