Auxiliary light kit Purelux Panther 5

The Purelux Panther 5 auxiliary light kit is a set of 6-8 Panther 5 auxiliary lights specially designed for SUVs, off-road vehicles, buses, trucks and other large vehicles. When mounted side by side, the lights form a mean-looking, extremely high-performance light bar with a width of 932 mm (6 pcs), 1089 mm (7 pcs) or 1246 mm (8 pcs). Even a single Panther 5 provides a whopping 6560 lm of light output and a measured range of 472 m (@1 lux), and with multiple lights the output and range reach truly impressive figures:

• With six lights 39 360 lm, measured range 1156 m @ 1 lux
• With seven lights 45 920 lm, measured range 1249 m @ 1 lux
• With eight lights 52 480 lm, measured range 1335 m @ 1 lux

The Panther 5's small size, low reference number and exceptional body make it possible to build a super-stylish light bar with multiple lights. Having multiple lights in the set means that the light beam they create can be tailored to the user's needs: for maximum range, it's best to point them all at the same point directly ahead. If you want to maximise the width of the beam, you should align the beams of the lights side by side. It is also possible to combine the mounting arrangements, e.g. the 4 lights in the centre can be directed straight ahead and the lights on the sides slightly to the left and right to give a nice width to the beam. In addition, the set offers the possibility of replacing the edge lights with a light with the same body but with a very wide beam (Panther Alpha 90). This gives even more light to the close appromixity and sides of the vehicle for off-road use, for example.

The stylish appearance of the bar is crowned by a parking light running along the bottom of the lamp, which can be lit in orange or white. For more information on the lights, see below.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the set, no complete bracket is included, but the lights are intended to be mounted side by side on a roof rack, for example.

NOTE2! The lights are also available with a rockfall protection in black or yellow: Scratch shield Purelux Panther 5 / Alpha 90. The yellow version not only protects the lens, but also changes the hue of the light to yellow, which improves visibility, especially when driving in fog or heavy rain.

The Panther 5 has a wide, rectangular main beam with a wide spot in the centre that directs light far ahead, up to almost half a kilometre. In the vertical direction, the beam is softly delineated, as in the other Panther series lights, so that the light is not lost to the sky and there is no dazzling ball of light in front of the bow. However, the height of the beam is also optimised for hilly terrain and rooftop installations.

PS. The set comes complete with relay wiring harnesses to connect the lights. For more special connections, a switch panel is available to control the lights or even their parking lights separately: the Purelux Multi-Switch Dashboard Controller or the Purelux Mini Dashboard Controller.

PS2. Due to the large number of lights, the set is not directly approved for road use, as the maximum number of high beams that can be lit simultaneously in a vehicle is 5. However, if the wiring is such that a maximum of 5 lamps are lit at the same time, the set can be legally connected.

Purelux Panther 5

The Purelux Panther 5 is a new generation design, a powerful 5" auxiliary light that fills a gaping hole in the market in this size with style! The high-performance Panther 5 is equipped with a wide combination headlamp, orange and white parking light, a completely unique appearance and an exceptionally low reference value (12.5). In addition, the light features two power modes, the more moderate one being approved for road use, while the full power-releasing PowerBoost® mode is intended for off-road use. The light's impressive size-to-power ratio is demonstrated by the 6560 lumen light output measured in PowerBoost® mode and the 472 m (1 lux) range achieved with just a single light, packed into a body less than 15 cm wide.
