The Purelux Panther Heat S540 is a highly efficient led bar equipped with a heated lens, high performance and a wide combination beam. In addition, the light has two different power modes, thanks to which you can switch on either the more moderate power mode approved for road traffic or the PowerBoost® mode that releases all the light output. The unlimited PowerBoost® mode raises the driving experience on sections that require maximum light output to a completely new level, as the light output is measured up to 17795 lumens and the range up to 750 meters (@ 1 lux). The power mode can be changed easily by pressing the button on the frame, meaning that there is no need to make any extra connections. Thanks to the lens that automatically heats up, Panther Heat's shocking light output and wonderful light beam do not weaken even in bad conditions, but the lamp is always at its full potential!

"Notorious Panther performance"

Unlike usual, you don't need to connect or disconnect any extra wires to activate the lamp's different power modes, instead switching between PowerBoost® and road mode is unprecedentedly easy by pressing the button at the end of the lamp. The last used power mode remains in the lamp's "memory", and thus there is no need, for example, in road traffic use, to ensure that the lamp always turns on at maximum power, when the power is turned off in between and the car starts moving again.

Note! You can clearly see the difference between Purelux PowerBoost® and road traffic mode - PowerBoost mode is significantly more efficient and should not be used when driving in normal road traffic, only off-road.

The beam of the Panther Heat S540 consists of a rectangular wide main beam, which is the perfect combination of both range and width. The light beam opens right from the front of the car and illuminates the whole road from side to side, while the brighter main spot in the middle of the beam directs the light far ahead. In the vertical direction, the light beam is softly delimited, as usual from other lights of the Panther series, thanks to which the light is not unnecessarily lost in the sky, and a blinding ball of light does not form in front of the car. The height of the beam is optimized to be sufficient even for hilly terrain and for roof installations of heavy equipment.

In addition to the precisely finished light beam, a feature that significantly improves the driving experience is the light's neutral color temperature of 5000 Kelvin. Neutral color temperature is optimal for road traffic, as it facilitates the observation of terrain shapes and obstacles, and it does not distort the color of objects. In addition, it dazzles less cool tones from e.g. snow cover or in fog and rain, and reduces the strain on the eyes. The 5000K color temperature perfectly matches newer cars with standard LED or Xenon lights, and brings the desired brightness and sharpness even alongside traditional halogen lights.

The special feature of the Panther Heat S540 is its heated lens, thanks to which frost, slush, snow and ice accumulated on the lens can be melted quickly. The heating is always on when the light is on, and in addition, it has its own wire in the power cord, with which the heating can also be connected behind a separate switch, so that the heating can be adjusted during driving whenever necessary. It can also be switched to work, e.g. always when the car is running. This makes it possible to melt the lens even before setting off or when driving on a lit section of road before the auxiliary light is switched on, so that the light beam can open unobstructed at the end of the lit section.

In addition to excellent lighting properties, Panther Heat S540 is designed to withstand the stresses of the environment, as evidenced by e.g. the highest possible tightness rating (IP69K), a frame made of strong aluminum and a special coating that guarantees the bar excellent durability against UV radiation, corrosion, chemicals and changing weather conditions. In addition, the bar has a glass lens that is thicker than normal (5 mm). The heating resistors are located on both edges of the bar, and they conduct heat through the tempered glass lens to the entire lens. The glass surface conducts heat much more efficiently than polycarbonate, which allows the lens to melt quickly. Black mounting screws and dark optics crown the wonderful overall look.

The light comes with both the traditional end legs and the width-adjustable rail mounts below the lamp. The installation is facilitated by the ready-made DTP connector in the bar's power cord and the ready-made fixing points for the support irons in the bar's frame (the use of support irons is not necessary, if the installation can otherwise be carried out securely). The wide operating voltage range (9-36V) enables installation in both 12V and 24V systems, and the low reference number (30) enables installation alongside all standard lights without having to remove the original lights! In addition, the lamp is protected against radio interference in accordance with the ECE R10 standard. Two-year (24 months) warranty!

Note! You can buy the above complete sets either as they are OR take in addition to them the XBB OBD Dongle & PowerUnit connection relay (see product options), with which the led bar can also be connected to CAN-bus controlled lights. Instead of a traditional wiring harness, these sets come with a wiring harness with a Plug&Play-type place for the XBB relay (Relay wiring harness Purelux Dualrelay 12V, DTP). In short, the connection using the XBB relay is carried out by inserting the control device (OBD Dongle) into the OBD-II port of the car and placing the PowerUnit relay in a ready position in the supplied wiring harness next to the original relay of the wiring harness. The control device placed in the OBD port catches the high beam signal from the CAN bus and sends the information completely wirelessly to the relay in the wiring harness, which in turn controls the led bar according to this signal.
