PRODUCT DESCRIPTION - DELIVERY CONTENT - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
Purelux Heat S530 is a new and updated version of the previously and highly popular Purelux Heat LED-ramp. This auxiliary light is a straight 53 cm ramp equipped with features including an automatically heated lens and a modern dual-colored parking light (orange or white). The intelligent Heat function heats the lens, preventing snow, ice, and frost from forming, ensuring that your auxiliary light is always ready to deliver top performance regardless of weather conditions. Beyond this feature, Purelux Heat S530 places a strong focus on power, offering an impressive light output of 11,600 lumen with a range of 434 meters @ 1 lux, stated by the manufacturer. This auxiliary light is incredibly hard to beat in terms of functionality and appearance!
Heat S530 utilizes a unique and energy-efficient technology to heat the lens: Heating resistors are placed on both sides of the panel and conduct heat through the tempered glass lens to the entire front of the auxiliary light. The choice of a glass lens instead of a poly carbonate one is because glass conducts heat much more efficiently, allowing the lens to quickly melt ice and snow. Depending on the connection, the resistors are automatically activated either when the vehicle or the auxiliary light starts, and they turn off automatically when the temperature exceeds 90°C. This eliminates the need for the driver to manually defrost the lens, enabling a focus on driving. This feature is excellent for the long and cold Nordic climate, where auxiliary lights must withstand extreme and challenging conditions. Purelux Heat S530 can be activated to heat the lens as soon as the vehicle starts or in the traditional manner when the auxiliary light is turned on! This enables heating the lens on the driveway or on an illuminated road section before entering a dark area. Additionally, the function prevents the lens from freezing if the light needs to be turned off during a drive, for example, on an illuminated road stretch or when driving behind another vehicle. It is also possible to connect the heating to a separate switch, allowing the driver to choose when to activate the heat.

The auxiliary light's reflectors project light both far ahead and broadly towards the road edges, creating a combination light pattern. Vertically, the light beam is limited, but it still provides sufficient diffuse light for driving on uneven terrain. Heat's wide beam effectively illuminates the roadside, helping detect wildlife near the road in advance. Purelux Heat S530 offers an excellent combination of a long-range spotlight and even, diffuse light at the road edges. This combined light pattern enhances driving safety, allowing the driver more time to react to sudden road changes. The auxiliary light has a neutral 5000K color temperature optimized for road use, making it easier to observe terrain and obstacles without straining the eyes during long drives. Additionally, the warm 5000 Kelvin color temperature performs better than cooler shades in adverse weather conditions like fog, snow, or rain.
Purelux Heat S530's dark design and optics, along with its elegant orange or white parking light, make it a modern addition to any vehicle. The front panel is entirely frameless, preventing snow, ice, or dirt accumulation, ensuring the lens stays clean even in poor weather. The fixture itself is made of robust, powder-coated, and UV-protected aluminum, designed to withstand tough conditions and heavy use. Due to its size, Heat is suitable for both passenger cars and vans, as well as part of the equipment for trucks, SUVs, and heavier vehicles. Compared to its predecessor, Purelux Heat S530 is considerably slimmer and more streamlined in its design, allowing discreet installation even in limited space.
The auxiliary light comes with both traditional side and adjustable rail mounts, providing nearly unlimited mounting options. Installation is facilitated by the pre-assembled 2-pole DTP connector on the lamp's power cable. The wide operating voltage range (9-36 V) allows installation in both 12V and 24V systems. Furthermore, the lamp is protected against radio interference in accordance with the ECE R10 standard. Two years (24 months) of warranty!

Note! You can buy the complete sets above either as they are OR you can also take the XBB OBD Dongle & PowerUnit connection relay (see product options), which allows the additional light to be connected to CAN-bus controlled lights as well. In short, the connection using this relay is carried out by inserting the control device (OBD Dongle) into the car's OBD-II port and replacing the PowerUnit relay with the original relay of the supplied wiring harness. The control device placed in the OBD port catches the high beam signal from the CAN bus and sends the information completely wirelessly to the relay in the wiring harness, which in turn controls the additional light according to this signal.

Connections
The heating works in the light whenever the light is on. In addition, it is possible to connect it to work even when the light is not lit, by connecting the power to the green wire.
Switching on the heating when the light is not on: The most common connections for the heating are either controlling it with its own switch or so that the heating is always on when the vehicle is running. In this way, the light can be kept dim even when the high beams are off, so that it is already dim when additional light is needed.
When controlling with a switch, the power cable is connected to e.g. the plus terminal of the battery or another fixed power point, from where the cable is pulled into the cockpit, connected to the switch, and from the switch is again extended to the green wire of the light. When connected in this way, the heating is always on when the switch is set to the ON position.
If you want the heating to always work when the vehicle is running, you should find a place/fuse in the engine room/fuse box that only gets power when the vehicle is running. When such a place is found, a wire is connected to it, the other end of which is connected to the green wire of the light. In this way, the heating is always on when the vehicle is running.
